The final position was to assist senior management in the analysis of the current road network to aid in the appropriate distribution of funds based on assets management methodology, to gain the best cost/benefit return on public funds. During this time, it there was a major change in the methodology for road asset management and the data analysis provided critical information for the implementation of the new method of determining where and when road maintenance would occur.
