    • Yoga Instructor
      • Sep 2015 - Aug 2022

I did my yoga teacher training through Core Power Yoga. I became certified as a yoga teacher first and then I continued to do their extension program so I could teach two specific class they have. I’m certified in a Pilates style yoga class as well as 2 hot yoga classes. I teach private lessons to mostly adults. I have had opportunities to go to elementary schools and teach P.E. classes and also taught a few yoga classes to the U of U basketball team. I did my yoga teacher training through Core Power Yoga. • Private Swim Instructor
      • Jun 2009 - Aug 2022

As a swim instructor I teach people of all ages swim lessons and beginner diving. I mostly work with kids under the age of 10 but am open to taking on clients at any age or level including infants. I swam my whole life and through high school and played college water polo so I am very experienced. With more advanced swimmers I work with them a lot on technique and endurance so they can do well on swim team. I started teaching swim lessons at a recreation center where I learned basic safety skills to teach the kids and when I was 18, in 2011 I started teaching private swim lessons.

I was an office manager for my moms private APRN practice for 2 years. I kept track of patients attendance and payments using excel spreadsheets. I would call clients to remind them of upcoming appointments. I did this job part time in addition to working as a swim teacher and working at iFreedom Direct. I worked the front desk at ABC counseling where I would check patients in for their appointments and also keep track of their attendance and payment history. Many of the clients were court ordered to be there and I was expected to keep confidentiality which of course I understood. My job was to make outbound calls and take inbound calls from possible lenders and then I would screen them and transfer them to a loan officer if they met the qualifications. I was always very nice on the phone and I got top transfers almost every month while I worked there. I would rarely take breaks and I would just dial as fast as possible and work as hard as I could. • Lifeguard
      • Jun 2009 - Jul 2012

I went through a training program to become certified as a Red Cross lifeguard. My duties were to make sure that the pool area was clean and safe. I had to watch the water and saved a few people from drowning before they went under luckily. I also had to administer first aid for the entire building which included injuries from the gym and ice skating rink as well. I also taught group swim lessons to kids and adults which got cold at times, but was still fun. I loved this job a lot but there was no room to make more than $9/hour.
