    • Beauty Technician
      • Oct 2010 - Aug 2011

Within Newcastle College my role as beauty technician was to aid the learners and teaching staff with the resources needed for each class thus keeping detailed stock control for ordering and audit. This job was a challenge as I have had to implement many systems and procedures as the experienced member of staff has been absent due to sickness and had no one to show me the regular procedures used. Updating COSHH, data sheets for products and risk assessment files for all machinery. Every class has a requisition for products or equipment that needs to be set up for the start of a session and put away at the end, thus using my organization and time management skills to the full. I have planned, organized and implemented a whole floor dispensary/stock room relocation for better use of the equipment, products and time. Show less
