I currently serve as the Project Coordinator for a rapidly growing landscape company that primarily works on commercial and municipal projects. I oversee the administrative side of all of our construction projects including bidding, developing project schedules, managing contracts, working with vendors to secure materials and equipment, tracking and organizing all project documentation including change orders and RFI's, material submittals, applications for progress payment, certified payroll, close out documents, etc. In addition to serving as Project Coordinator, I’ve also taken on many office management duties, including developing a company handbook and policies, writing standard operating procedures, and developing workflows. I built a Microsoft SharePoint site that would serve as the information hub of the company and allow for easy information exchange between departments and management. I also created a work order system with several redundancies in order to reduce revenue loss due to missed billings. Show less

Executive and Government Relations Assistant

In this position, half of my time was spent in an advocacy position where I frequently represented the association at jurisdictional meetings, tracked updates to land use policy, performed demographic research, and developed policy papers. During this time, I had the opportunity to represent the association by sitting on Metro's Equitable Housing Work Group as well as worked closely with one of our members to develop The Oregon Planning Forum, an event hosted by Portland State University that brought together planners, developers and advocates to discuss the issues affecting housing affordability in the region. The other half of my position was to support the Chief Executive Officer, Executive Committees and Government Relations committees in an administrative role by scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, sending all correspondence, and helping with strategic planning and budgeting for the association. I also worked closely with our Communications Director to develop articles for the Government Affairs and Leadership sections of our social media and published communications. Show less
