      Employee Relations and Policy AdvisorSeptember 2013 to presentThe role of the Team is to write and implement HR Policies across the Co-operative Group. These must be constantly added to and updated to ensure we comply with ever changing Employment Law. I also manage to ER Helpline along with two colleagues. This is a number for Managers to get advice on any Employment Law or Employee Relations issues. Main purposes of the role –• Provide accurate, practical advice and support to HR and Operational Management on all aspects of HR issues, policies and procedures and generate the appropriate letters.• Prepare tribunal bundles and assist management and CEA the lead up to tribunal date• Work closely with the CEA Solicitors in dealing with tribunal cases.• Assist and coach managers in conducting formal hearings• Produce relevant administration and correspondence for Managers following any disciplinary / grievance / ER meetings• Write and roll out Policies for the Group in line with Employment Law and the Business Requirements• Present new Employment Law and Policy changes to the HRBP and Management team as required• Support the ER Managers on Project work as required• Attend the Diet and Health Steering Group and feedback to the ER and Policy Managers• Maintain a good relationship with the Trade Unions and promote within the Group Show less
