I gave 1:1 ABA therapy to children with ASD. We worked on decreasing behaviors and developing skills by creating a highly structured environment. During ABA therapy different prompting techniques are implemented throughout the many ABA programs. Putting challenging behaviors on extinction and following through with the initial task demand was a huge role as a therapist, as well as, advocating for children with ASD.
