Chosen as a student intern for the community partner "The Black Presence in Alachua County." Through a 5 hour/week commitment and under the advisement of Dr. Jacob Gordon, I worked on intensive archival research, community outreach, history input, and a variety of collective skills to help create a better understanding of this important and (before this project) unrecorded history. Documented over 60+ hours of historical research. Chosen as a student intern for the community partner "The Black Presence in Alachua County."
