Mon Komo Hotel, on Redcliffe’s beachfront, is a Caribbean themed entertainment and dining complex comprising 186 apartments (holiday and permanent), large corporate function centre, multiple themed indoor and outdoor bars, full service 250 seat a la carte restaurant, 300 seat Lounge Bar, gaming room, nightclub and a retail and office precinct. As a thriving entertainment destination, Mon Komo Hotel was crowned “Best New Hotel in QLD” by the Queensland Hotels association in September 2012. Mon Komo Hotel has also been awarded “Best Marketed Hotel in QLD” in 2013, 2014 and 2016 plus “Best Food & Beverage Service in QLD” in 2015 and “Best Food & Beverage Service in Australia” in 2015 as well as multiple design and construction awards. The Marketing Manager was responsible for all aspects of bringing our brand to the Market including the following: Developing the marketing plan and budget Design of the advertising plan including liaising with graphic artists on all design elements for newspaper, magazine and other external advertising including billboards, cinema advertising, radio ads and bus skins. Managing our digital media including Website, Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Snap Chat), Gaming Loyalty and MKH Society program Sourcing & booking of all entertainment for the venue including bands & DJ’s Formulating special events and charity dinners and bringing them to the market including dinner show packages Management of the ticketing system for all events Writing & distributing the Hotel Newsletter to Society members every week Managing all internal advertising including posters, table talkers, TV screens, banners, lightboxes I also coordinate all aspects of HR, training & Recruitment within the Hotel.
