I worked with Rachael many times in my role as Audit Liaison at Citigroup, and it was always a pleasure. Rachael was extremely organized and knowledgeable about her department. She understood her role and her processes, and was an excellent team lead who gained the respect of her team members by providing them with clear direction and giving them the respect they deserved.

While working at Citi, I had the fortune of working for Rachael. During this time, I learned a great deal about being a leader, stream-lining processes and successfully managing projects. In terms of leadership, Rachael stands above the rest. Her excellent communication skills, effective feedback and follow-through empower her employees to meet objectives. Additionally, her participative leadership style inspires others to challenge themselves and to reach their potential. She will set aggressive goals for her staff, but will help to ensure they are met. She is tough, but fair. Rachael is an individual that does not look for flaws in propositions. Rather, she tries to find value in them. In a sense, she has the ability to see challenges with a different lens. This skill has enabled Rachael to deliver results and to add value during various re-engineering projects geared towards reducing cost and maximizing operational efficiency. In addition, Rachael’s ability to communicate with various stake-holders, enable her to deliver results when managing and leading projects. In my tenure under her, she successfully completed different projects involving teams in U.S., Canada, and India as well as third-parties. There are few individuals who have served as role models for my career, Rachael is definitely one of them. She is a progressive leader able to guide teams to reach goals, expert at evaluating processes and recommending solutions in order to add value. I truly believe she would be a great asset to any organization seeking success in challenging projects.
