  I began writing for LeftLion magazine following hearing about an open house meeting to learn more. I got talking to the editor, explained my interest and what I had to offer. Following this I’ve been writing for the publication ever since, mainly in the music section. My favourite pieces include an interview with ‘Happy Mondays’, ‘Vicky McClure’ and ‘Georgie’. I write reviews/previews, interviews, and long form articles for the publication. The readership of the magazine is over 50,000. The Student Music Network

  In August 2020, I took on the national role of Student Musicians Officer at the Student Music Network (SMN). My role is to find the best student musicians throughout the UK and give them the opportunity to receive airplay throughout the UK as part of our national playlist surveys. The artists I select also have the chance to receive exposure to A&R and potentially get signed. I am currently working on running gigs in every region of the UK for the SMN, for which I choose and coordinate the line-up. Show less
