  The role was extremely varied and required a lot of multi-tasking as projects overlapped throughout the year. Key areas were the coordination and implementation of the Park Sport program, consisting of over 350 sessions of sport and recreation for 8-16s. I managed the Sports Awards event, involving all aspects from promotion and planning to the delivery. Club support was also a core aspect of the job; throughout the year I supported the development of a new Boxing Gym facility.   Within my position I was responsible for 4 key areas; women's and girl's development, disability cricket, volunteer coordination and adult participation. Involved throughout this was the creation of new programs, strategies and coaching programs. I worked alongside key partners to promote the game including Schools and Local Government. Throughout my 18 months with the organisation significant developments were made to establish sustainable and accessible opportunities for females, people with disabilities and adults to play the sport. The other aspect of the position was coaching that included delivering sessions to various groups such as mainstream schools, special schools, county squads, clubs and adults.
