As an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Crockett Lab at RWJMS Research Tower, I researched the epigenetic control of TBI-induced neuroinflammation in mice. I ensured adherence to IACUC standards while working with mice and assisting in two models of TBI: close cortical injury and close head injury. I operated and maintained a cryostat and two-photon microscope, and supported immunogenic chemistry for section preparation and imaging.
