He chose the subject and it was about reducing the amounts of concrete in reinforced concrete members. He included voids in the tensile zone of reinforced concrete beams and compared the flexural behaviour of beams with and without voids. But to the shock and surprise to the management, a formidable Project Management Plan were made and successfully completed the project with a remarkable profit.
