On acquirement of fresh data, AWS Kafka producer and consumer are leveraged to run Python scripts and update data visualization using Plotly and DataTable. I also learned more about how to play with data, the tools are available, how to think like a data engineer, and how to analyze data. Attending innovative industry workshops presented by IBM, AWS, Microsoft, EY, SAS, Vodafone, Engineers Australia, and exchanging knowledge about how projects are built, work-life culture, attitude required for development, and the challenges encountered as a part of the program.

  I began by working on a project to provide a Web-based solution for a clinic. I was required to learn Django in order to work actively on both the front-end and back-end of the project in my search of challenging possibilities, which I did in two weeks. Because I was part of a small team of eight people, we had a lot of projects, and because of my work responsibilities, the obligations of the project I was working on were totally allocated to me. I was entrusted with the project's further development and given authority to make judgments about what needed to be done next and how to keep the project running. The back-end scripts were written in Python-Django, while the front-end scripts were written in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jquery. This project provided me with the opportunity to work and learn a lot in terms of technical and project management, including how to meet deadlines, manage the project when something goes wrong at the last minute, and make deliveries.
