Mr. Muhammad Mahfuzur Rahman has been my colleague in Chevron Bangladesh for more than two years. The enthusiasm and dedication that drives Mr. Rahman has been the highlighted areas of his performance in the workplace. With an excellent team building capability, Mr. Rahman has always been on the front line in developing interpersonal relationships. Sound technical knowledge and a strong commitment to process safety have been other remarkable features that made him one of the key players in the Production department at Chevron. He has a dynamic personality and always works hard to achieve his goal. I wish him every success in life.

First of all, I apologize to those- who are looking for a formal recommendation letter of Muhammad Mahfuzur Rahman. I’m writing this recommendation to those who want to team up with Mahi and have little or no prior experience to work with him. BTW, I call him Mahi (Muhammad Mahfuzur Rahman is a very common name in Bangladesh- in Chevron Bangladesh, we had three of them) Secondly, if you are trying to get an idea of his capabilities regarding intelligence and hard-work, I would suggest not to waste your time by reading this recommendation. Instead you should consider the following: • Look at the school he went for his bachelor degree and google: how tough it is to get admitted and survive in that school. • Look for his first employer. Chevron is one of the very few Fortune 500 companies those have direct business in Bangladesh. And yes, Chevron doesn’t hire stupid people. • By now you should have noticed: he survived a grad school (M.S. in Chemical Engineering) in the US, PERIOD. Finally, if you want to know more about his personal qualities, you can consider finish reading this recommendation. I first became acquainted with Mahi when he joined Chevron back in 2011. At that time, he was the most junior person in our team but within a few months of his joining, we became more like friends rather than colleagues. Of course, he's not going to turn every single coworker into his personal friend but I highly praise his quality of being friendly so easily to anyone regardless of the age, position, gender and other different traits. We worked in many projects together, and now I can’t remember a single instance when he was a bit lazy to do his part. It is not a rare case when I found he was volunteering or helping other members of the team on their own task after office hours. If I have to pick three words to describe Mahi, I would say: Friendly, Helping and Sincere.
