  During two semesters at METU, there was a system design projects for graduation students with team of five and two academicians. Vestel has a problem about highdensity level at inside logistics. There were not enough area to stock raw materials and semi-finished materials. An optimization study was needed. To understand the bottlenecks and core reasons, problem symptoms were determined using ARENA simulation software. After that, Quadratic Assignment Problem methods were used to create a new layout design in factory. These alternatives were simulated and cost/income analysis were done for all of them.
