  My major work involves research dealing with synthesis and characterization of novel polymeric additive for lithium-ion battery application. The goal of this project was to develop the core technology of high safety and high performance lithium-ion battery. The core technology is aimed at resolving the key safety issue (i.e., preventing batteries from explosion). We have successfully developed innovative advanced polymeric materials based on this unique technology.
