I have written my master thesis on the human-wildlife conflict that occurs in the UK where raptor conservationists and the game management sector clash over the impact of hen harriers on red grouse. The former is an endangered bird prey in the UK and the latter is a valuable gamebird that drives much of the upland management. I did my research on the cooperation between the two camps that has been going on for nearly 30 years and used negotiation and conflict theory to find out: 1) why the solution has not been found yet and 2) whether a mutual gains approach could break the current stalemate. Brickz consist out of river sediment that accumulates in reservoirs and the fungi mycorrhiza which together form small cubes that can be used for reforestation and soil restoration.
