      When I first arrived, Birkey's was a small six-store retail chain dealing in Case IH Agricultural and Case Construction Equipment. There was no marketing department, so I built one from the ground up. There was no cohesive, company-wide marketing effort for the stores, and each store managed its marketing efforts. Today the company operates 17 stores in two states, and I have built a small marketing team, training them on software and marketing tactics. Our department manages all marketing facets in-house eliminating the need to outsource to outside agencies. Community engagement is part of our marketing strategy. During Birkey’s 60th anniversary, we restored and gave away a 1954 Farmall tractor and coordinated a fundraising effort for local foodbanks near our store locations, running a two-month campaign and raising $150,000+ in donations, providing one million meals to the food pantries. I have leveraged social media to create brand awareness, and increased the presence of the company on social media platforms, using 10X growth strategies, achieving triple-digit percentage growth rates over 2 years on the most popular platforms: • Instagram: 1,503 -> 23,640 followers (+1472%) • Twitter: 1,275 -> 2,891 followers (+126%) • Facebook: 5,515 -> 10,200 followers (+85%) In 2022, the company became 100% employee-owned, and I publish monthly newsletters and create company videos to provide guidance and information to employees.
