Master Carpenter for Crank Yankers Season 1. Learned a lot about the grueling schedule of a television shoot. Working 16 hours days on a shoestring budget, we had to be creative and resourceful. It was a lot of fun and I learned what human beings are truly capable of if provided with enough food (great craft services) and drugs to keep them moving. I also met some wonderful people who I am still working with 14 years later. Master Carpenter for Crank Yankers Season 1. Learned a lot about the grueling schedule of a television shoot. I landed this position at a job fair at the Indiana University Student Union on my second go-around of undergraduate studies (I was 28 years old and returned to IU to finish my degree before the credits expired). I owe Tim Stebbins and David Higgins for passing on the history and tradition of scenic arts that they possessed. This was a busy and productive scenery shop, serving the world famous Indiana University School of Music Opera program. In my two years there I helped produce 4 new productions and a few revivals for the massive stages. I learned scenic painting, sewing, upholstery, model making, scenic carpentry and prop building.
