Project: KMS ConnectResponsibilities:- Created RESTful APIs to integrate with 7 well-known EHR Vendors: Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, NextGen, Meditech, eClinicalWorks, Veradigm.- Created RESTful APIs on the back-end side to integrate with the front-end side of the project.- Used Liquibase to safely evolve the database schema.- Created UI components and pages using Next.js, Formik, tRPC, and Tailwind.

Participating Project: KMS Connect is an accelerator that enables healthcare providers, payers, and health IT vendors to rapidly connect their applications with EMRs and health plans leveraging the healthcare interoperability standards. Completed Tasks: - Wrote unit tests for many critical parts of the system. - Completed many RESTful API endpoints with good quality, which followed the standard and best practices of RESTful API. - Fixed bugs on many parts of the project, especially on the RESTful API workflow for different kinds of HL7 FHIR Resources. Domain Knowledge Achievements: - Gain knowledge about the HL7 FHIR Resources model in the Healthcare industry. - Gain knowledge about HIPAA compliance rules and processes in the Healthcare industry. - Gain knowledge about EMR, and EHR, especially Cerner and Epic (two well-known EHRs in the Healthcare industry). Skill Achievements: - Have practical experience with the SCRUM process, an Agile methodology. - Have practical experience with RESTful API, about its standard and best practices. - Understand how to write good unit tests and how it is important to a project. - Gain the skill of using Git, especially with GitHub. - Improve my teamwork skills by joining many discussions with significant contribution ideas and collaborating with testers to test my work's results. - Improve independent working and problem-solving skills.
