Pham received his Ph.D. from Pukyong National University between March 2019 and August 2022. He was a student in the Smart Structures Engineering Lab (SSeL Lab), led by Professor Jeong-Tae Kim. The lab focuses on research that uses smart sensors in combination with global and local structural health monitoring techniques to detect damage in steel/concrete structures. Currently, Pham is continuing his research at the SSeL Lab in a postdoctoral position.
