•Study the feasibility and potential of investment opportunities via interviewing, conducting due diligence and analyzing the target companies. For example, helped a top tier Fortune 500 chemical company analyze potential tax implication of a contemplated restructuring in Asia Pacific area and a global carve out of a business unit with more than USD 1.2 billion revenue in FY 2014 in China; •Advised multinational clients on financial reporting purpose valuation relating to merger and acquisitions under the requirement of generally accepted accounting standards. For example, identification and fair value measurement of tangible and intangible assets in a cross-border transaction in which a US listed company acquired a Hong Kong listed company in the medical instrument industry.
