I would like to make the strongest recommendation in the capabilities of Qasim as the laboratory instructor at Purdue University Fort Wayne. In the nearly two years I have worked personally with Qasim and my overall time as a student, Qasim ranks among the top 5% that have held a teaching assistantship. He completely changed the operation of the materials testings laboratory by integrating new experiments, recommending and ordering new equipment, and holding the students' education quality first and foremost. Qasim has a strong sense of responsibility and takes enormous pride in his work. Even though he is one of the best at his job, he is not afraid to ask questions and admit when he needs a hand. His abilities to not only lead but provide valuable insight elevate his position from a desirable team member to a necessity on any team.
