Agriculture College Representer
-
May 2023 - May 2023
As a representative of the Agriculture Engineering Science program, I was selected by my college to be part of a team tasked by our university to plan and develop a database for managing college exam committee works and automating the examination grading process. Along with representatives from other colleges, we attended several meetings to determine the most suitable type of system for our needs. I played a key role in this process, contributing my expertise and insights to help the team arrive at a final decision. Ultimately, we were successful in choosing a suitable database and are now in the testing phase. I am proud to have been part of this important project, which has the potential to improve the efficiency and accuracy of our college's examination processes. Show less

As a member of the IT team for the International Collaborative Conference on Modern Agriculture Technologies, I played a critical role in ensuring that the technical aspects of the conference ran smoothly. This included working closely with the conference planning committee to identify the technical needs for the conference, such as audiovisual equipment, internet connectivity, and computer hardware and software. I also collaborated with the venue staff to set up the necessary equipment and troubleshoot any technical issues that arose during the conference. In addition, I provided technical support to presenters and attendees, ensuring that their presentations and demonstrations went off without a hitch. Through my hard work and attention to detail, I was able to help create a seamless and engaging conference experience for all involved. Show less

While in college, I excelled in theoretical science but lacked practical experience. To bridge this gap, I undertook a small poultry project at home to gain hands-on experience in animal husbandry and develop skills in managing poultry. The project involved rearing different breeds of chickens and providing appropriate living conditions while taking measures to prevent disease transmission. The outcome of the project was highly successful, as I was able to successfully rear 23 Lohman White layer chickens, 7 Lohman Brown chickens, and 1 local rooster from chicks to maturity without any mortality from diseases, lice, or the use of any drugs. The only preventative measure taken was applying vaccines as needed. As a result, the project was able to produce fresh eggs for consumption, and I gained valuable practical knowledge and experience in the process. Show less
