Purnima is higly energetic and passionate towards almost all the tasks she handles. I have experienced excellent results when worked with her on various projects. She is persistent and determined to see a project towards the end. She is extremely calm under pressure and usually will pull out all stops to deliver the desired

I am the Chief Editor of Pulse Magazine & have published 8 Editions till date. Each Magazine is a booklet of minimum 50 pages which covers the stories & achievements of the members of the Club. Established in the year 1933, with over 30,000 members, Khar Gymkhana is a premium sports club in Mumbai-Surburbs. Along with been known for having the best Gymnasium, Badminton Courts, Health Clubs, Squash Courts, Pickle ball, TT, Billiards, Tennis & much more, the Gymkhana is also known to have players from different sports department representing the State, National & International Tournaments. All Cover Pages of the magazines have been conceptualised by me. The names & themes are a new edition compared to the previous editions of the magazine & have been my contribution. All unique titles given to each article is a result of brainstorming by the team. With the best of help with me, this job is being done Pro bono by all of us. The Pulse editorial team is a group of 5 including a talented proof-reader & a hard-core journalist. We also have an inhouse columnist who has written 3 books & is a PHD. From conceptualisation of the theme to choosing potential members & designing what kind of story would match their persona to finalising the articles & making sure the illustrator has shown it the way we conceptualised-is my job! Over the months we have invited & taken in young Interns from Schools like Jamnabai Narsee, National College & MET. This program is to give young people the opportunity to understand the life cycle of a magazine & gain an extra credit on the way. They are given guidance on how to interview, shown how to pen down articles & improve overall presentation of their work. Individual attention is given to each intern. On completion of this program each intern would have written more than 12 articles in a span of 45 days & they are awarded certificates post that. Show less

I joined QuickSilverHR as a Rookie, new to the corporate world. PR had always been my strong suit, but the corporate world a slightly different definition of the same. The Mantra I eventually learnt was keep your plate clean, always be hungry, do not leave the dishes dirty & above all do not leave the gas burning!! I am sure most foodies like me would be looking for some munchies right now. Speaking of which, QR along with FMCG, Manufacturing & Engineering were our strength sectors. We had a base of @100 clients including HUL, Tata Starbucks, Kellogg’s, Ferrero, Sapphire Foods, BASF,Coke,Disney etc. From junior to senior level recruitments, we managed it all eventually becoming preferred vendors at many companies. Our USP has always been our Quality of Work, be it responding or reverting with suitable profiles. Managing Client Relations & Acquisition. Off the clients we had over the years, I was responsible for acquiring @80% of them & managing relationships with their entire HR Team. If the need be I would also interact with the Stakeholders for briefing on special mandates. I had to make sure that all new roles were shared with us in time with additional details where needed. Managing Candidates Relations along with Training I have interacted with candidates at all stages from a not so simple Territory SO to a simple CEO. Initially explaining the JD & check their interest level, then help them during the interview process (train them to give interviews where needed) (held training sessions to max 30 sales force at 1 time), negotiate offer & eventually make sure they join. Backs out are normal at interview & at joining stage, my job was to keep it minimal. Internal Systems Administration & Communication Managing the Social Media promotion & handling the internal MIS, DMS were part of my KRA. Over the years as a PR, an HR, a Trainer one would think that you have experienced it all, but the job just makes you realise that every day there is something new to learn! Show less

This started off by teaching the Kids simple things like art & craft but grew into something big, where in we used to get outside specialized like Yoga instructors, doctors, art & craft teachers to speak to the kids on what they like to know. A couple of things we added were, speech & drama, Candle making, Fabric Painting, Glass painting, cooking, Outdoor picnics etc. The age group here was 3-6 years & 6 years to 12 years. The best part was when the student graduated they would come & help out for the next years batch. Over all I taught over 200 children I even organized a Fair which was a Talent Show for all kids with Rajeshwari as the Chef Guest & a few Model Coordinators to help the children get roles.
