I got an opportunity to work on BizConnect alongside Samar School app as a digital product owner. We developed an Android and IOS mobile application. BizConnect is a community-based app that provides a platform for small businesses and entrepreneurs to thrive; individuals who have a product or service to offer but no access to markets around them due to resource constraints. The features we built on this application include; credit/debit, favorites, history, and geo-fencing capabilities. I worked in an agile environment. I learned the importance of communication with the team, understanding the requirements, and proper testing of the application on a staging environment before it is deployed to production. This accelerated the process of building the features. I managed the backlog and refined it as needed. I was responsible for writing user stories, prioritizing the feature release, and holding daily stand-up meetings. BizConnect is available on the play store, and app store. Show less
