Bio
Ian Jamison
I worked with Pupjana for seven years on the Generation Global programme, where she was our country coordinator in Egypt. Never a particularly easy country to navigate for an external organisation, or for an ex-pat, Pupjana excelled at building and maintaining the complex web of stakeholder relationships - often at a high level - that enabled the programme to work with so many government and private schools in Cairo and Giza governments. It was Pupjana's efforts to build these close personal relationships, whether with teachers in the classroom, or officials, that enabled the programme to build the reputation that it did, and it was her efforts that empowered many teachers to step out of their comfort zones, and connect their schools with global peers. Thank you Pupjana for your efforts!
