As an Architectural Intern at PlaceMate Architects, I was able to expand my knowledge on construction and Building Approval processes. During this internship, I was handling multiple projects for which I prepared and lodged Building Approval documents and Development Applications. Throughout this process, I expanded my skills using REVIT and was able to maintain clear communication with the relevant clients and consultants to stay on top of projects. I was also able to gain more knowledge on construction processes by having regular visits to construction sites and communicating with builders and other architects. My main responsibilities included:- Developing and lodging Building Approval documents and Development Applications- Maintaining clear communication with clients to keep them updated with their projects- Liaise with relevant consultants such as structural engineers, town planners and builders to stay on track with projects and cross-reference the relevant information
