  Member of a three person team responsible for all aspects of testing software used for backing up virtual machines. Responsible for unit, system, integration and regression testing. Created and executed test plans and test cases independently based on loosely defined requirements. Used JIRA to manage test cases and for bug reporting. Tested automation software written in Perl/BASH/Python/C which interacted with XenServer and VMWare APIs. Used this software to write scripts in Perl/Python/BASH to automate a subset of existing test cases. Used SVN for revision control of these scripts. Worked in the support department, when required, to provide phone and email support to customers. Suggested modifications and enhancements to our software resulting in a decrease of support tickets related to these features based on the knowledge of our customer base obtained by working in the support department. Solely tested several core product features from the requirements phase until release. Worked closely with developers and project managers in order to ensure the quality of software being released.
