Bio
Barry Barlow
Pruthvi was a graduate student of mine in an Enterprise Architecture class at GMU for Spring 2017. As a full-time corporate IT executive, my goal was to teach the students practical use of Enterprise Architecture in the workplace. Pruthvi led a team that looked at the use of Enterprise Architecture at NOKIA, and the role it played in their strategy. After extensive research, he was able to identify key decision points where small changes would have had a profound impact on the company. This type of critical thinking is rare among students, and a bit uncommon in the workforce. By linking the Business vision to the IT vision, Pruthvi demonstrated a complete understanding of the concepts and how to effectively employ them in the workplace. He will do well and I highly recommend him.

It is with great pleasure that I recommend Pruthvi Yannam. I have had the fortunate opportunity to supervise him for almost two years, where he is currently employed as a Document Center Specialist/Admissions Assistant for the George Mason University Office of Admissions. He has proven to be a very valuable team player due to his excellent attention to detail, ability to multitask in a fast paced deadline driven environment, and his ability to quickly learn new tasks. Additionally, one of his primary duties as a Specialist is to maintain our Admissions database by adding necessary documents that we receive daily. The ability to identify, describe, and scan documents, while also handling confidential information with the highest levels of discretion, requires extensive knowledge and experience. Pruthvi’s hard work and motivation have made him an essential member of our team. Additionally, Pruthvi effectively balances working over twenty hours per week and attending graduate school full-time. He is pursuing his Masters degree in Information Systems. Along with his attention to detail, Pruthvi has always displayed integrity, responsibility, and dedication. Pruthvi is very personable, passionate, hardworking, and will excel in any opportunity that is provided to him. I strongly believe that he would be an excellent candidate for any position that he applies to. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reach out to me through email or phone at (703) 993-9578. Best Regards, Jennifer McCue Document Center Manager George Mason University jmccue2@gmu.edu (703) 993-9578

I've been working on this website for a long time creating databases and building pages for some of the flows. It is still a work in progress... -Developed the website on a WAMP server stack and setup the environment for development from scratch. -Developing the pages, I was responsible to be user friendly across different device platforms like PC, Tablet & Mobile. It is a fully responsive design. -Some of the page/functionality implementations I worked on are User Account creation, Showing the correct content based on the filters set dynamically by the user, etc. -Analyzed user needs to determine technical requirements and maintain knowledge of current Web technologies. -Designed the database tables for the pages I was responsible for storing the user data. -Designed DB following principles of normalization, used appropriate Primary & Foreign Keys. -Used PHP, MySQL, HTML5 & CSS languages for the development and used Git for version control. -Ensured success of code with constant testing before deployments, thus maintaining a low bug rate.
