The D&I Collective is a media organisation and creative collective, working to diversify narratives in South Asian media through community + capacity-building---with a focus on furthering social equity through art & writing. A student-led, non-hierarchal space for creatives by and from structurally-excluded backgrounds. We also have an upcoming digital literary magazine imprint and do workshops &c.! By increasing access to resources, connections and creative spaces, we hope to facilitate the production of stories, writing, art, performance & film that is fundamentally located within ideas of equity, divergence and care, such as--ecological justice, intersectional feminism, post-colonialism, FLINTA identities, anti-capitalism, anti-casteism, disability, neurodiversity, mental health and non-conformity amongst other things. I've been working as a part of the core editorial team starting January 2023! Show less

Participated in the four-week long School Internship Program (SIP) held by Scholastic and learnt several soft and core skills. The industry exposure taught us countless soft skills like communication and teamwork as well as hard skills like event planning and execution and being efficient salespersons. While working our way out through the event, we learnt the fundamentals of connecting the process of ideation by the content team with the marketing team to help the thought behind the product reach the consumer, and the finance team to figure out cost effective ways to do the same. Moreover, the Shishukunj International School's Team was declared the best team in all of India. Show less
