The project was initiated by the UGC and Ministry of Education and funded by The World BankActivities undertaken during the project implementation phase: • Coordination in the establishment of the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell as mandated by UGC-QAU under the Project• Familiarize the staff of AIUB-IQAC with the various components of the QA system both internal and external assessments in consonance with the UGC–QAU Manual of Operation• Formation of the Quality Assurance Committee (QAC) of the university and Self-Assessment Committee (SAC) by Program Entities• Orientation on IQAC for the Academic and Non-Academic officials• Conduct training/workshop for all the staff of SAC members on the objectives, requirements, expected outputs of AIUB-IQAC and their individual roles and responsibilities to perform• Implementation of IQAC Activities in coordination with different Self-Assessment Committees (SAC) like organizing workshops for each entity, review & finalization of self-assessment questionnaires, coordination in the self-assessment/surveys conducted by SAC on their respective Program Entities on students, academic staff, non-academic staff, employer and alumni, analysis of surveys and preparation of Self-Assessment Report (SAR) for QAU-UGC, coordinated the writing of the SAR by different Program Entity, appointment of External Peer Review (EPR) Team for each entity, conduct of EPR of Self-Assessment Report (SAR), submission of External Peer Review Report to UGG-QAU, comply with to some important suggestions/recommendations of EPR• Conduct various QA activities, surveys, audits, etc. as per Quality Assurance Protocol (QAP) • Procurement of Goods and Services for SAC and IQAC Office and renovation of IQAC office as per the submitted proposal• Organizing regular Quality Assurance Committee Meeting • Preparation & Submission of Financial and Activities Quarterly & Half-Yearly Reports to UGC-HEQEP• Facilitate visit of UGC-HEQEP team to AIUB-IQAC Show less
