Supporter of entrepreneurs

Jan 2014 - Present
One of the things that makes Hatch so exciting and unique is that many of the entrepreneurs and social businesses we support go on to play an important role in developing and improving the social and economic fabric of their community. We particularly support social enterprises and mission-driven businesses because they have an even harder time getting off the ground and becoming sustainable. European Accelerator
-
2013 - 2015
Following the EU economic crisis, Europe has faced high levels of unemployment, which were particularly felt by young people. The YEA project aimed to understand and address the needs of Young Entrepreneurs (aged 16-30) with regards to training, education and accessing the labour market. UK developed "Youth Enterprise Accelerator" modules and approaches were transferred to partner countries (Germany, France, Italy and Slovakia), whilst making them more relevant and applicable. This included tutoring entrepreneurship trainers and piloting the YEA Modules with young adults in each of the partner countries. The programme allowed the partners to share their experiences and highlight Best Practice approaches for working with young adults in entrepreneurship. www.yea-project.blogspot.co.uk/2014/06/introduction-yea-project.html Show less
