Dec. 2009. This work involved field work collecting oceanographic data and analysing sediment transport and distribution patterns. Bathymetric data was obtained against the GPS system to development grid coordinates required for the hydrodynamic model of the Simpson Harbour for prediction of current patterns during extreme weather conditions. • Principal consultant in preparation of BID for Environmental Monitoring Contract for the Lae Port Tidal Basin project for (IPBC and PNG Ports Ltd). This job was done in preparation for the feasibility of InterOil’s proposed LNG transport program. Nov/Dec 2009. Used multibeam to collect 3D surface view of the Purari River bed required for construction of loading berth at Henari Camp. Carried out transects of bathymetry measurements in Orokolo Bay for the Marine Industrial Zone proposal. Conducted seismic data acquisition for the Orokolo Bay seabed structure • Subcontracted to MSCIENCE for sediment monitoring reporting as part of the environmental impact studies (EIS) for the Woodside (Pluto) Gas Project Development, Dampier, WA. Sept. 06 – Jan. 08. • Subcontracted to GHD for sediment monitoring and reporting at Hay Point for the QLD Ports dredging program in Mackay, QLD, Australia (Mar. 06 – Jan. 07). • Contracted WorleyParsons for sediment monitoring and reporting for baseline studies at Abbott Point Port Development, Bowen, QLD for Queenland Ports.
