The International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement (ICHOM) is a non-profit organization founded by three esteemed institutions with the purpose to transform health care systems worldwide by measuring and reporting patient outcomes in a standardized way. Prof. Sullivan served on the Localized Prostate Cancer Working Group, and currently serves on its Steering Committee. He has contibuted as a speaker at the annual meeting in Harvard Business School, November 2014.

Who is part of the Network?• Organisations that the Movember Foundation has funded to implement national prostate cancer registries and / or health outcomes research projects (Australia, Canada*, New Zealand, UK, Norway, Ireland) or international standardisation initiatives (ICHOM)• Organisations that lead health outcomes initiatives in countries that Movember is operating in (USA, Germany)• Organisations that Movember Foundation is actively considering funding in national health outcomes initiatives (Hong Kong*, Czech Republic, Singapore*, Italy*) 3. The first two international projects that Movember will fundFollowing on from the priorities identified at our inaugural meeting in Manchester in 2014, Movember will now move forward to support and fund the first two projects:• A prospective international comparison of prostate cancer health outcomes, using a common set of measures based on the ICHOM standards• Cross validation of existing selected PROMS instruments, so that we are able to compare outcomes where organisations are using different PROMS

Professor Radiation Oncology

Established Professor of Radiation Oncology at NUI Galway, with responsibility for teaching and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students, and physicians in training; running a cancer research laboratory; supervising PhD students and postgraduate researchers.

Managed the Cancer Programme at the Holy Cross Hospital; served as CEO of MRCC, a network of 7 radiation oncology practices in suburban Maryland, Washington DC.

Advising on Cancer Programme development; radiation oncology practice development; cancer research project developments in US as well as Ireland. During this time I served as PI on an NIH Grant (Principal Investigator, NCI Contract NO-S-81003-09) Valued at $2.3M per year (1997-2005), total accrued value $18.4. The contract grant allowed for the recruitment and managment of skilled personnel in Radiation Oncology to work at the NCI, Bethesda Naval Hospital and Walter Reed Army Medical Clinic. THe contract reverted to Ms. Betty Camceron on my departure in 2005.
