I am a member of the five strong senior management team and am responsible for all partnerships with industry, education and the charitable sector. I oversee the sports strategy and also a range of projects with industry. For the last seventeen years I have focussed on innovative ideas and developing them to a status where the Univeristy can maximise on the income and related elements afforded by such projects and partnerships. Over the last few years I have brought in over £500,000 in applied research m0oney to a new area in crowd management. My major subsidiary role is as a facilitator for others supporting the development of projects such as The National School of Furniture, the International centre for Crowd management and Security Studies and the European Health and Safety Group. My major areas of expertise are crowd science, venue management, work based learning structures for programming and innovative new programmes where I have been the instigator of over 50 in the past ten years. Before coming into education I was in both the sport and music industries as a promoter and venue manager and ran my own private sector promotions company AMP.
