I have had the privilege of being a MBA student in three of Professor Rick Wilson’s classes at Franklin University. His commitment to his values and principles are very evident in his teachings, coaching style, and outward actions. Rick helped me fine tune my writing talents as well as open up my mind to embrace whole brain thinking and the waves of change. This ability to view all issues from the various different perspectives is a powerful lesson that uses critical thinking to apply System/Integral thinking, which is useful in today’s environment and invaluable in the future’s looming environment. Rick was always there to provide mentorship and help inside and outside the classroom. The engagements of his students were due to his commitment to his principles and his embracement of his students. His real life, experienced case studies brought life and reality into the classroom, which allowed all of us to quickly grasp complex concepts and apply them with ease. His presence and guidance will be felt by all of his students for years to come. Rick is lastly an inspiration to hopefully a publishable book – LEAD MOrE!

The outstanding members of our department responded to a variety of customer needs, product questions, concerns, and requests communicated to us via telephone, email, and written communications. I founded and co-authored the "Running Together" newsletter, which was distributed monthly to North American John Deere Agricultural dealers, factories, and a variety of related Deere divisions (i.e., Insurance, Credit, and Residential). I was responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, the department budget, process management, report analysis and generation, meeting monthly goals, and the development of our staff through the use of Performance Management Software, special assignments, and training.I also served as an Area Parts Manager, Territory Aftermarket Manager, In-house Territory Manager (pilot program), and Territory Manager.
