I am working as a project student in a project entitled as ”Butyl gallate, a COX-2 5-LOX Dual Inhibitor, is a Potential Anti-inflammatory Drug Candidate without Gastric and Cardiac Side effects”. We are looking at a compound, butyl gallate, a natural isolate from Terminalia bellexica to beused as safer and more biocompatible anti-inflammatory agents. Based upon our ex-vivo and in vivo experimental data, we are claiming that butyl gallate could be used as anti-inflammatory drug which now requires clinical interventions.
