I worked with Priyanka very closely when we didn’t really have a product team as her product counterpart, and also through PMs when we expanded the team (in her role as an Engineering Manager). In both cases, I truly felt like we had a real partnership. This allowed us to build incredible things, and also gave Priyanka the chance to own very critical components in our system early on. She’s the type of engineer who really cares about what we’re building, and not there just to ship releases. Worked on a project CloudBand Network Director (CBND) which does (NFVO) Network Service Orchestration, Resource Orchestration and Optimization, Aggregated view distributed infrastructures. CBND automates network services delivery and operation in a distributed, multi-tenant, multi-vendor environment while optimizing and governing the usage of the platform resources. • Part of a team responsible for developing an NFV Orchestrator for Virtual Network Function • Deployment to support telecom business use-cases using Openstack as cloud platform • Designed Ansible scripts for deployment of CBND on cloud platform • Designed various NSD (Network Service Descriptor) for customer cases to deploy a Network Service with VNFs, Networking components and NFPs. NSDs in specific for Openstack OVS and Nuage Networking • Worked on Lifecycle Management component of NFVO to deploy, update, scale, terminate a Network Service • Worked on workflow creation for Openstack Mistral and artifacts creation on Openstack Glare • Worked on UI development using Angular JS framework in coordination with Interaction Designer • Learnt basics of UI design using React Framework • Utilizing best practices in design and implementation of the product • Working closely with the technical lead on technical designs and design issues • Developed E2E tests using JBehave and JUnits to make each feature more robust
