In addition to demonstrating strong work as a student at SCAD, Priya combined solid leadership capabilities with her understanding of thought-leading design practices to author and found the Service Design Network's local student club. She also coordinated peers to host the Savannah local contribution to the 2012 Global Service Jam. Under her initiative, the club has successfully convened student designers from across disciplines to introduce them to service design tools, methods, and thinking. Several club members at both graduate and undergraduate levels enrolled in courses and majors in the SCAD Service Design program as a result of the examples Priya and her colleagues set forth.
