  DSI is an intense 12 week program that demonstrates and teaches students the entire steps of the Data Science workflow by strengthening programming skills such as Python, SQL and Data Visualization techniques such as Matplotlib enabling graduates to be able to gather, clean and interpret data in their respective fields. The course concluded with a capstone, my topic was prediction of opioid related deaths in the U.S. for which I integrated the use of Python and it’s libraries along with time series analysis using the Auto-Regressive Integrative Moving Averages (ARIMA) model. This project allowed me to utilize and apply all the skills gathered during to the Cohort.
