Serving our community since 1931, the Humane Society of Sonoma County is a donor-supported safe haven for animals with two locations in Sonoma County: 5345 Highway 12 West, Santa Rosa; and 555 Westside Road in Healdsburg. The animals in our care receive medical treatment - from basic assessments and spay/neuter surgery to complex life saving procedures - training classes and adoption services. With a 98% live release rate, we're dedicated to the belief that no effort is too great when an animal's life is at stake. Our mission is to ensure every animal receives protection, compassion, love and care. The Humane Society of Sonoma County is a locally founded, donor-supported 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We do not receive federal or state funding or financial aid from any other humane society or shelter. We depend on beloved donors with a passion for animals and a commitment to our mission. Our hearts overflow with gratitude for their support.
