CareXS facilitates and simplifies information exchange in the healthcare sector and contributes to patient's (medication) safety. My responsibility as QA engineer at CareXS ? Guaranteeing the quality and safety of a software product that actually saves people's lives. On a day to day basis i contribute to making this happen. For me, testing starts from the very beginning of the software lifecycle. Therefore i work closely with the Product Owner(s), and make it my goal to ask (critical) questions during a.o. refinement to make sure quality aspects are considered. This enables me to get a deep understanding of the products intended goals and use. With this knowledge i contribute as much as possible to our development team, to make sure there is an alignment of understanding of product requirements. A quality oriented approach early in the software lifecycle is in the business' benefits: identifying potential "obstacles" as early as possible results not only in saving live, but also at saving money in the development process. Besides, my work is customer-centered. I closely work with colleagues of customer operations and consider the user's experience. Starting point is supporting the workprocesses with a reactive UI that intuitively guides the user - resulting in preventing mistakes while using our application.
