Victoria Simansjah
Via is one of a kind. Nothing other like her. I was fortunate to collaborate with such a fresh, young mind with abundant passion and motivation like Via. Her role as a Project Lima Design Intern was to research and push the boundaries of technology and design within the "trending" world of Artificial Intelligence. She worked with such rigour and independence that at times I forget she was just starting off her career in the design world. I owe it to her desire and eagerness. With such limited guidance, she was able to structure, consolidate, and produce a report about how humans can work in synergy together with AI. She proactively reached out to our team members to seek guidance and also input. Her openness to receiving information, knowledge and feedback is impeccable. I would recommend her to any institution in a heartbeat.
Aulia Amanda Santoso
Via came as design and research intern for Project Lima as part of her gap year journey. To my surprise, she presented herself as very proactive, composed, and always trying to ask the right question. She valued everyone's time and always came prepared and in anticipation before any inquiry for meetings, syncs, or work sessions, which I found astonishing with her young experience in the industry. Being able to teach, give direction or share design and research knowledge with her was an enjoyable process as she always expanded what I shared and was able to add her exquisite thoughts to it. Since she always proactively reached me and had active discussions in the research process, I was blessed to see her grow in such a short time in our career crossover. Her inquisitive mind, creative rigor, and hard work was a combination of an emerging critical designer for sure. I do hope that Via could grow into a designer (or any future career path she chooses) who create big change or impacts.
