  During my one year of working in Archipelago, I was assigned in the Accounting Department as a Payables Assistant. I was given three project sites/residences to monitor all the payments that needs to be done. The three main payments that I need to meet is the suppliers, subcontractors, and utilities. We receive invoices and statement of accounts from the Procurement department and Operations department and the we process. We encode entries in our system, print vouchers and checks, and release it during Tuesdays (for suppliers) and Fridays (for subcons). Utilities are to be monitored and should be paid before due dates. All check dates and releases are for approval by our Accounting Supervisor. Show less

  For eight months, I was in the payroll department where I was tasked to monitor, encode, audit the weekly salaries of 5000 promodisers. I was also assigned to compute for reimbursements of team leaders, supervisors and managers. Also, I did a lot of checking and auditing when it comes to salary adjustments, incentives, government contributions, and loans of the employees. After eight months, I was assigned to the Sales Department. Still Accounting related, for a year I was assigned to monitor and encode the daily stock movement of 35 puregold stores. I was also assigned to reconciliate with employees when there are discrepancies between their daily stock movement and the liquidation from the store.
