I've spent the last few months mentoring Price and finally taking him alongside myself for a client project. The requirements were to package an Ionic Creator app and deploy it to the Apple AppStore. Price had zero knowledge of XCode, zero knowledge of Ionic, and had never deployed anything. Even with no prior experience, he was able to complete the task with little supervision, knew when to ask questions to unblock himself, and overall did a great job! Over the last few months, I've been giving Price practice coding interviews, walking him through Grokking the Interview and the Michael Hartl Rails Tutorial. He's completed all of these on his own while asking questions to me as he went. Out of the 10+ friends who have asked me for advice for breaking into the software engineering field, Price is the ONLY one to follow through with ALL of my advice. I cannot recommend Price enough for an entry-level role. If I had more sway at my current company, he'd be working alongside me now.
