J.G. is an excellent writer and an editor who simply makes copy better. We've worked on numerous projects together and he always delivers a clean, crisply written product ahead of deadline. He's responsive, creative, and willing to work long hours -- and he retains his sense of humor throughout even the most taxing projects. I always leap at the chance to work with J.G. Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC) is a professional association with more than 3,000 members who represent plaintiffs in civil cases on a contingency-fee basis. The association's primary functions are providing continuing legal education and legislative advocacy. As press secretary I am involved with both external and internal communications. I write and distribute news releases, answer queries from reporters and suggest stories, manage our Facebook and Twitter accounts, monitor news sources for stories about our members and issues of interest, assemble regular news digests for our executive staff and member leadership, and research issues as needed. I help to produce our annual installation and awards dinner and serve as the off-stage voice of the event. I also write articles for an affiliated web site and our member magazine. Show less
