CO-LSEN has two objectives 1. Bring relevant and timely science to bear on policy decisions at the local and state levels so that policies are better suited to address challenges related to climate change, sustainability, technology adoption, and natural resource management in Colorado; and2. Build and foster a new contingent of scientists in Colorado who are strongly engaged in identifying opportunities and relationships for bringing science into the policy realm. As the communications director I manage social media accounts, maintain relationships with our advisory group, plan and promote events, write content, and coordinate/ execute multimedia projects.

Shhh, It’s Real! Climate Campaign uses entertainment and comedy to activate people to solve the climate crisis. This group started as a campaign to bring humorous climate communication to Climate Week NYC 2020 launching the campaign Ten-Thousand Teachers. I helped interview, record, and host a webinar with 5,000 participants. The interviews I worked on have since been turned into a podcast called Pod-Zero that I have created a branding strategy for. My additional roles at Shhh, It's Real! include website creation and development, video content creation, grant-writing, branding strategy development, and social media tasks
