I was offered an insight into the various roles that exist within financial services and given the chance to talk to real practitioners from many different disciplines. There were dedicated training sessions covering a whole list of topics from ‘Winning your dream job – personal branding, CV writing and winning in an interview’, through to ‘Generating a personal development plan’. Virtual classroom teaching sessions covered topics such as ‘Harnessing social media’ and ‘Presenting to win’. Over 6 months I followed up on multiple patients from the moment their injury took place to seeing their recovery. I saw many different healthcare professionals involved in the recovery process of a single patient. I gained so much knowledge and understanding from asking questions one would not be able to find on the internet. Each work experience day was so different, much so I looked forward to the next.
